How to Fade Audio Clips In and Out

This simple tip is essential for editing.

When audio clips begin or end, it’s really handy to fade them in or out. Fortunately, DaVinci Resolve makes it really easy.

It can be done simply with your mouse in the timeline!

In this video from Green Goat Productions, you’ll see:

  • How to adjust the height of your audio track
  • The fade markers on each clip
  • Adjusting the fade in/out for the clip in your timeline

It’s pretty simple and very convenient!

  1. Dear Gedaly, thank you. Yet I have a big trouble rendering when rendering multiple invidividual clips from timeline: Then the video fade ins and fade outs won’t render. Or am I dong something wrong?

    Thank you very much,
