From the Lowepost channel, comes a quick video about a very powerful feature:
Scene Cut Detection.
If you’re ever given a finished edit as a single file that needs to be colored, trimmed, or tweaked in any way you can use it.
Rather than having to manually split the clip at each cut, Resolve can do it for you!
It detects each cut and then automatically splits the clips for you.
Really useful, especially for long files.
If you haven’t heard of Lowepost, their site is a great place to learn Color, VFX, and editing using Resolve. Check them out.
