A replace edit is on of the most efficient ways to swap clips in DaVinci Resolve.
With a few quick selections, you can replace a clip in your timeline with another clip from your source viewer.
You can even replace a clip with a different section of the same file.
This lets you swap takes or change your video without needing to resize clips, delete them, or mess with transitions…
All of that saves you time!
It’s also useful for quickly having sound effects synced to the perfect spot.
