DaVinci Resolve has a large and flexible toolset.
That usually means there’s 10 different ways to accomplish something. That could be confusing at first, but once you understand the nuances you’ll have a better idea of how or when to use them.
The saturation of an image, for example, can be affected in a plenty of ways. Many of them are covered in this video.
You don’t need to use them all. You’ll likely have a favorite you stick to.
But when that one doesn’t work, it’s great to experiment with the other options available to you.
Take some time to pull up some test images, color charts, and past projects and play with these tools to get a better understanding of how they work.
