Did you know Resolve has it’s own copy media function?
Media management is an important function of a DIT or the solo filmmaker. Copying files is a common task and Resolve makes it easy!
This is great for offloading media from your camera card or copying media between drives.
There are similar tools that are often in a post workflow, but if you have Resolve you don’t need ’em!
In this video, Daniel Grindrod will teach you:
- 00:20 Why is checksum software useful?
- 01:13 How to use the clone tool
Pretty cool, right? Once you’re done with a shoot just open Resolve and copy that footage!
