Unlike other editing apps that use project files, DaVinci Resolve stores everything in a database called a Project Library.
This gives you a single interface for managing your projects without having to hunt for files in various folders.
A project library is a container for any number of projects. And you can have as many project libraries as you want.
You can keep all your projects in one, or use a different one for each year, or for different clients, or any other way of organizing projects that works for you.
In this video from Blackmagic Design, you’ll learn about:
- Project Libraries Organization
- Project Manager Screen
- Backing up a Project Library
- Restoring a Library
