Fusion now lets you create bundles for easy distribution of your presets!
If you’re sending comps to a team or creating macros to sell, this is a great functionality to take advantage of. Especially because a .drfx file is so easy to install.
In this video from VFXstudy you’ll learn:
- 00:00 Introduction to templates
- 01:09 Creating Keyframe Stretcher
- 02:29 Media in Templates
- 10:37 Adding Custom Icons
- 14:48 Exporting Template Bundles
Pretty handy, huh? Enjoy making your .drfx bundles.

Hi, I’m working with the Studioversion 18.1 and which Youtube video I’m looking, there is a bin within Effects named “Templates” which my version didn’t have. When I look into the windows manager there is c://programme/Blackmagic Design/Davinci Resolve/Fusion/Templates but then no Fusion Folder with “setting” data.
So I cannot save own Fusion templates (even if I create those folders they are not vissible in Resolve effects).
